i would also recommend getting extended dog talents so ur dog can be more cool n powerful they made it a legit part of the second game, but you need to mod it for the first. (i would recommend turning this off during the casteless dwarf origin, tho, otherwise the plot is? odd) like you still get the PROTECTION, but you don’t have to see them during the cutscenes and dialogue and just… it’s so nice. basically, it makes it so the helmets r removed from ur character. otherwise, the only way to loot them is if you have a rogue with a high enough lock picking w/ you, which isn’t always what you want depending on the quest.
